Looking for the best steak in Gatlinburg, TN? The Peddler Steakhouse is open for business!


Well it's no surprise that there are several road closures due to recent weather conditions. That said, The Peddler Steakhouse is open for business and the Parkway is wide open from Gatlinburg to Interstate 40, so make your plans and come have dinner with us this weekend.

For an updated list of road closures and current weather conditions, you can visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park website here or call them at 865-436-1200. Once you hear a voice, dial extension 631 for road closures and 630 for current weather conditions and forecast.

Facebook Places - Would you Check-In?


As many of you know, Facebook users now have a feature called Places. This feature allows you to Check-In to your favorite places with your mobile device. You can only Check-In once you are near that place but once checked in, you can upload photos, post comments and even find discounts and coupons available that day.

Our question to you:

If we offered incentives such as Check-In Discount Coupons, would you use them?

On behalf of everyone here at The Peddler Steakhouse, we would like to thank each of you for continuing your family tradition each and every year with us.

Forecasters calling for more snow - Great Smoky Mountains National Park still open!

Weather.com has forecast some pretty frigid temps for the rest of the week, however, we will be warming up in the daytime to the high 40's and maybe even the lower 50’s. Santa Claus is comin' to town!

Tonight at 7:30pm Eastern, the 35th Annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade begins in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee. For 35 years, tens of thousands flock to downtown Gatlinburg to enjoy the sights and sounds of Gatlinburg Winter Magic during this festive holiday season and the Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade is an absolute highlight of the season.
