It's business as usual in the Smokies!

As many of you may have heard, Tennessee was hit with severe weather including tornados, damaging winds, mud slides and torrential rains. On top of that, a waste treatment plant holding tank ruptured on the Spur, just outside of Gatlinburg.
Not only have these events made national news, but they have made some of you uneasy about your plans to visit the Smokies.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by the recent storms and to the families of the employees that perished in the incident at the treatment plant.

We wanted to go on record to set a few things straight for all of you "Spring Breakers" and Vacationers" headed our way:

  • Although our neighbors all around us have suffered damage from the storms, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge & Sevierville are all unscathed and as beautiful as ever.
  • NONE of the 3 cities use any water source affected by the spill.

We hope this information will help comfort you in knowing everything is business as usual here in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and all surrounding areas of these Great Smoky Mountains!

Please travel safely to get here, but please do still travel!

Did you notice?

Have you ever noticed the beautiful stained glass in our front window, doors & entrance foyer?

These beautiful works of art highlight the awesome beauty of springtime in the Great Smoky Mountains. With delicate, handcrafted dogwood blooms created by local artisan Chuck Ottolini over 20 years ago, they add a special touch to each visit.

We invite you to join us this weekend as spring officially begins, and while you are here, be sure to check out the beautiful stream and brook trout design by another local artisan, Bill May. It is located above our awesome, generous salad bar.

How to find the best steakhouse while visiting Gatlinburg & the Great Smoky Mountains!

It used to be that when you were on vacation and got the yearning for an awesome steak, you would check for a phone book in your hotel or cabin and begin paging through it to TRY to find a steakhouse.

Once you had thumbed through those old pages to find several "steak restaurant" ads, you then had to call each of them to find out about parking, what times they operate, if they have call-ahead seating, and on and on. After all that, you then had to ask for directions and write them down – turn by turn – only to get lost half the time! Well friends, if you have a smart phone or computer, those days are OVER!

Nowadays, from any device connected to the internet, simply go to Google.com, type "Peddler Gatlinburg" or even "Gatlinburg steaks" and instantly you have every bit of information you need at your fingertips. You’ll find our menu, directions, address for your GPS and even hundreds of reviews from our recent diners on our website and multiple independent sources.

A MEAL TO REMEMBER!...

"Everyone needs to try this restaurant for yourself--the food is simply delicious and the desserts are divine. This is one of the few restaurants where my family is actually excited to eat a salad---the (salad) bar is one of the biggest I've seen and has so much to choose from! ..................KYMama, Trip Advisor Viewer"
