It's business as usual in the Smokies!

As many of you may have heard, Tennessee was hit with severe weather including tornados, damaging winds, mud slides and torrential rains. On top of that, a waste treatment plant holding tank ruptured on the Spur, just outside of Gatlinburg.
Not only have these events made national news, but they have made some of you uneasy about your plans to visit the Smokies.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by the recent storms and to the families of the employees that perished in the incident at the treatment plant.

We wanted to go on record to set a few things straight for all of you "Spring Breakers" and Vacationers" headed our way:

  • Although our neighbors all around us have suffered damage from the storms, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge & Sevierville are all unscathed and as beautiful as ever.
  • NONE of the 3 cities use any water source affected by the spill.

We hope this information will help comfort you in knowing everything is business as usual here in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and all surrounding areas of these Great Smoky Mountains!

Please travel safely to get here, but please do still travel!
